Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    CHAMBERS!!!

Even though he didn't score there I'm actually delighted with how Welbeck hit that. Along with the goal it's a couple of bits of powerful play we haven't had in years.

That's why we should take some of our corners low instead of just launching them in and hoping for the best

I disagree, it was a horrible bit of defending that let the ball in in the first place, followed by a nice bounce. Those nice bounces just depend on the ball being in the right area, something that happens very rarely with low corners. Although I wouldn't an advocate of chipping it in, we really should be able to get much better "standard" corners in.

Alexis made a great run waiting for a return ball from Ramsey there.

Alexis showed great desire and bravery for a smallish player.
Some of our other players could learn from that.
Desire is a great thing in football.

If Cazorla had hit some of his strikes with as much effort as Lukas he'd have easily scored today

Podolski is incredibly unlucky not to have 2. Some foot on him. If he had a bit of pace he'd be unreal

In fairness to Wenger, while he didn't sign enough players over the summer (we needed a DM and another CB for sure) those he did sign appear to have been top notch signings - Chambers, Welbeck and Alexis.
