    Anyone know of any decent masters in data science/Big data??

    Looking for something recognized, online and not crazily expensive, not finding that much atm.

    Hey, do you want a full masters course, or would some online qualifications do the trick? There's some fantastic free content on udacity.com and cloudera.com that would get you on the right track pretty quickly.

    Though don't underestimate the time required to complete the online courses - 7 hours a week is hard to find if you're not full time!

    Data Science is a profession where opportunities are plenty, so once you are knowledgeable and eligible, the jobs will be waiting for you, grab the opportunities!!!

    I recently came across Scaler Academy's Data Science course, I found their concept interesting, here are some features:

    1. 1:1 guidance with our top industry mentors
    2. Live interactive online classes
    3. Real-time live industrial project experience
    4. Job placement assistance
    5. Internship opportunities

    Check for learner reviews, complaints, etc., and take the final decision. Polish your skills before you take the big leap! I hope you find the matter useful!

    As an emerging field, data science is still only in its infancy. The world is expected to generate 50 times more data in 2020 than in 2011, according to SpringPeople. “Considering this, we have no denial to accept the fact that we need conjurers who can maneuver data and create magic with it to drive business growth and innovation.” 

    Studying to become a data scientist is the first step to embarking on a rewarding career. Earning a data science certificate provides legitimacy that you are sufficient in key skills that will inevitably lead to full-time employment in the field.
