Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DCU or UCD Actuary?

I'm a leaving cert student interested in studying Actuary next year. However, I'm not sure whether to choose DCU or UCD, I've heard the DCU course is more practical but I'm still not sure if I'd rather go to DCU over UCD, which I would've generally assumed to be a better college with a better name etc. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to contact both colleges and weigh them up yourself. They'll toss information at you if you even show a slight interest in attending. Only you can decide what you want in a course.

Are you from Dublin? If so, I'd go with whichever is the easiest to commute to. Seriously, if you're on the wrong side of the city it can literally eat 4 hours from your day in commuting.
