Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi, I have a firebird popular 90 oil burner which stars ok ,runs for 5-8 mins stops and will not start again. Help please.

    Sounds like circulating pump stuck or needs replacing

    sorry no I was just agreeing with the poster before me if your pump is stuck or kaput your boiler will just cut out on the stat because no water will be circulating

    Thanks very much to Robbie.G and JimF for their very helpful advice concerning my oil burner. They were bang on the nail pointing out the problem was the pump. It was just a small piece of dirt lads.
