Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Received a street fighter rainbow edition pcb from a seller on J+ and an having problems with getting it to work.when I switch it on I only get a scrambled screen (picture attached) no sound or anything.I contacted the seller and he said to check the rom chips are pushed down,I checked them all and all the same!!
As my pcb knowledge is very very limited is there anything else to check?

Seller has said he will send another if I can't get it going

Looks like a monitor sync issue to me based on that pic. Have you adjusted the vhold and hhold pots on the monitor?

It does, but the below would seem to contradict that (unless the pcb volume pot is also turned down!)
    no sound or anything

Have you checked the voltages form the psu?

No sync pots on the blast city as far I know.
Its played every thing I ever tried.
Has to be the pcb if the neogeo is working fine

Sorry, didn't spot the no sound comment.

    5v is an option alright.

Boot behaviour can be unreliable though by their nature.

I bought a original SF2 off the same guy (i think, steveflipout?) who was selling these and he sent me one of these boots by mistake. I get the same issue with the one he sent me . he is sorting out the mistake and sending me a sf2 original a.b.c board at the minute, told me to just keep this non working boot.

anyways, seems to have the same issue as you there. I havent tried messing with it or anything yet.

Yeah he said he would send me another one so I guess I'll get onto him in the morning

    Have you a multimeter?
If so measure the 5v on one of the chips on the board, increase the voltage slightly to a maximum of about 5.5v, I wouldn't usually recommend this on an expensive board but I have read bootleg street fighter rainbows and CEs usually require a bit over 5v

Edit: If you don't have a multimeter invest in one
