Just came across this website, mysteriously claiming there will be a "new lunar mission for everyone" announced in 13 days.

Was looking into it a bit more but it seems to just have came online earlier today and there doesn't seem to be much news or talk about it, apart from a couple of tweets from Brian Cox and Stephen Fry.

Did a whois search on the url and some media communications company is behind it, so they could have been hired by anyone really.

Hope this is the real deal and not just some marketing campaign waste of time. Will be interesting to see what this turns out to be though!

My guess is that it's a new board game.

According to their official twitter, RAL Space are involved, they're a research and tech lab in the UK who had a significant role in many satellite missions including the Rosetta comet chaser.

The project is also being chaired by ex UK minister Ian Taylor who is on the ESA advisory board and the UK governments Science & Technology Facilities Council among others.

    Looking very good so far!

I wonder if it has anything to do with Golden Spike Company?

BBC news claimed the UK is aiming to be a leader on space ad Lunar exploration. No idea how they came up with that one though as UK at best only makes satellites just now.

As of 2014, the United Kingdom is the only country to have successfully developed and then abandoned a satellite launch capability.
