    DROID & SLUG Biog:

Notorious for their compendious selections and meticulous precision in the mix, old skool veterans Droid & Slug have honed their skills playing across the board jungle/hardcore, reggae/dancehall, and ambient/electronica for almost 20 years.

Since 1996 they've clocked 8 years of pirate radio on Dublin's legendary Power FM and shared bills with such diverse names as Aphex Twin, Autechre, U-ziq, Plaid, Kosmik Kommando, Venetian Snares, Tim Hecker, Ed DMX, Keith Tenniswood, Equinox, Nookie, & 0=0 whilst playing everywhere from the national gallery to squat sound systems.

In the last decade they have been responsible for the weareie blog, the Fear and Ruff Revival labels as well as being heavily involved in seminal bass culture magazine 'Woofah'. Since 2002, their slavish devotion to breakbeat science has led to appearances at almost every local jungle/d+b night of note, including Bassbin's Sovereign Rhythms, Refuge and Fever, Reach, Studio B, Spectrum, Kaboogie, Drank and many more.

Mostly dormant these days, this hermetic duo come out of semi-retirement this November to play a beautifully crafted mix of 'early 90's breakbeat stompers, bangers and mashers for "Back to '92" @ The Energy Collective.

    7 Euro before 23:00 / 10 Euro After.
