clubs to join in limerick ? shy mom

Hello just wondering if anyone can advise me on any groups or clubs in limerick I realised since having my daughter I'm quite lonely and have lost friends since all they do is drink which I can't anymore . I love reading books, used to do kick boxing and I am good at art so would like to join a club with these interests .

My old kickboxing club closed up ages ago and I'm shy to join a new one so maybe anyone know of a female self defense club thanks

You could try meetup . com. There are several groups near Limerick.
If you don't feel like going for the drinks, maybe you could try the book club?

Watch House Cross library has a book club once a month, they also have a really good toddler group on a Friday so you could meet other mums.

If you fancy giving rugby a try, St Marys Ladies Team train Monday and Wednesday at 7.30 in Grove Island. Age range 18 - mid 30s+ ;-)

Hey Hagoonabear whats up .

Have you considered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ? There is a womens only class at Limerick BJJ Academy, excellent instruction in an all womens group. If you've done kickboxing or any martial art before you'll love it ! The class is on Monday nights at eight o clock.

The club also has mixed-gender classes aimed at all levels of people, and runs beginners courses aimed specifically at those who have no prior experience.
