Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just saw Berahino's goals on MOTD. He was fantastic. He has that curler down to a tee.

Were the managers in the higher leagues always so condescending to the lower teams?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

I can't tell you how much I loved Berahino looking disgusted at having to play against those lower league losers despite scoring 4 times.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

Neither the West Brom or Birmingham players were bothered. The only reason they pushed on was bollockings from their managers. That isn't to disrespect the efforts of Blythe or Gateshead who were fantastic.

The Blyth Spartans keeper will be haunted by that second half for the rest of his life I'll say. No absolute howlers and I doubt any of his teammates will have verbalised it but he'll know.

Pretty much their strongest 11. Austin, Caulker, Ferdinand, and Fer all played

    I hate pink balls.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

Yeah that ball is dreadful. It's not really a luminous pink so it's kind of hard to see under lights.

Disgraceful challenge on Quinn (Hull). I thought that was a red card! Could have broken his leg. Commentators quiet. Not even a yellow. Wtf?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,991 ✭✭✭sword1

Commentator referred to santi cazorla as a little spanny,

Yeah, although almost same result. Only one definite all Prem tie with another potential if Southampton beat Ipswich in replay. Hopefully few upsets.

    Chelsea/Millwall 9am kickoff?

Anyone remember the last time Man United got two non-Prem teams in a row?

No real standout ties (as in big teams facing each other)

Chelsea v Millwall should be fun...

I'd say the police saw that draw and thought "ah bollocks"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

I'd imagine it will be a 12pm kick off with Millwall fans kept in the ground for two hours afterwards.

This on tv? Have flicked around but can't see it. Would have thought it was televised given the kickoff time.

Or anything else on tv this round?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Liverpool v Bolton is on BT Sport at 5.30pm and Bristol City v West Ham 1.15pm tomorrow on BBC1

Monday Rochdale 20 : 00 Stoke City could be on BT Sport, not sure

Ah good spot - always worth checking regional variations when a English based Welsh team is playing.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Blackburn Rvs 3-1 and all the sweeter with two ex Cardiff players with the goals.

edit - Sigardssssson off straight red.

City 1-0 down at home to Boro. Wow. Half an hour left to go though so plenty of time to turn things around.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Should have been 2-0. They may rue that missed opportunity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Oh I don't believe that. How are City still in this? :pac:

I'm following the match thread on bluemoon - its just as well it doesn't have upper floor windows. Who thought traipsing off to the Arabian Gulf for 4 days made sense?

Chelsea being held! 2-2, by an ex Chelsea player I think
