I was always amazed at the amount of people who are mods on "other forums" also have a Boards account.

When you manually follow a thread (by clicking 'Follow Thread'), you still need to select 'no email notification'. The default option at the moment is 'Instant (as it's posted in)'.

You dont have that choice from the touch site as far as I recall.

Nope but it uses the setting from your User CP, or at least mine does. I have it set to no notifications and regularly follow threads on touch but don't receive emails

Yeah, I don't get any e-mails when I manually follow a thread from the touch site.

Was the 30 days of membership(or was it 15?) rule removed for posting links, images etc.?

    Spam notification threads:

    -10,000 posts between 21/12/2011 and 22/05/2013 (17 months). http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056491247

-4,070 posts between 22/05/2013 and today (just over 17 months). http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056955066

    Savage improvement. The system works.

you know while on the subject, the unsubscribe option really ought to be linked in email communications; its a standard in most automated email systems now, especially most junkmail. It might be an FTC obligation to have the option included for typical junkmailers like retailers etc. and normally the option only involves a couple clicks and doesnt need a login by the user.

There is an Unfollow link? Or do you mean an "unsubscribe from all" link?
