I've read posts here that mention Sterling and Johnson playing poorly, how opinions differ. I thought those two along with Skrtel, Couthinio and Can have been our best players.

I don't think that justifies his inclusion. All the talk of him as a 'quarterback' he'd be better suited as a kicker who we could bring on or off for every free kick/peno.

Well you seem to be in the minority (doesn't mean you are wrong obv). For me he's been slow, given the ball away in dangerous positions and offered very little in our attacks.

You can tell at times he knows what he wants to do but the body doesn't allow him.

I'm taking about today only by the way. He's doing fine, no need to take him off. Especially in a game like time.

Other times are different of course. He does need to be eased out, but gradually.
