Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've read posts here that mention Sterling and Johnson playing poorly, how opinions differ. I thought those two along with Skrtel, Couthinio and Can have been our best players.

    He has?

Can think of 4 balls at the top of my head he gave straight to Chelsea

    Johnson's passing is diabolical.

People just default to 'get Gerrard off" whenever we're not winning, no matter how the game is going. The chap will probably whop in a free kick from twenty yards in this second half.

I don't think that justifies his inclusion. All the talk of him as a 'quarterback' he'd be better suited as a kicker who we could bring on or off for every free kick/peno.

Agree. Sometimes you wonder if people are watching the same game.

That doesn't mean he'll have played well. He hasn't.

He is no way a problem for Liverpool today and I'd be raging if he was taken off in a match like this. It's a nonsense idea and won't be happening.

Not a bad effort by costa. Hazard is seeing so much of the ball and causing plenty of problems.

Well you seem to be in the minority (doesn't mean you are wrong obv). For me he's been slow, given the ball away in dangerous positions and offered very little in our attacks.

You can tell at times he knows what he wants to do but the body doesn't allow him.

    Willian should have started anyway

That was just awful by Lovren when he picked up the loose clearance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Lovren seems to have notions about himself being a top quality trickster with the ball. Just clear the fooking thing!

Players should always play on when someone is injured, unless it's clearly a bad bad injury. Too much feigning these days to justify stopping play every time.

I'm taking about today only by the way. He's doing fine, no need to take him off. Especially in a game like time.

Other times are different of course. He does need to be eased out, but gradually.

    Make a change Rogers?
