Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

stove not heating water in cylinder

hi, my problem is as follows.

have a 3 coil cylinder (oil burner, solid fuel stove and solar panels)

for some reason the stove is not heating the water in the cylinder.

the pipe thermostat is set at 50. this is as high as i can set it because anything above this causes it to overheat and vent out into the attic.

i'm not sure if this has been a problem since solar panels were installed or if it only started recently.

should it be heating the water in the cylinder.

i thought how the stove workes was basically it heat the water in the flow this passed through coil in cylinder and cooled and flowed back into the stove. this process repeated its self until the coil wasn't cooling the stove flow/ return enough and so the pipe stat turned on the pump and sent flow/return water to rediators to cool.

as i said: now it doesn't heat the water in the cylinder it just heats up ad goes to the radiators.

    any advice.
