Went on a bit of a winning streak last night and ended the night in Masters, was delighted! Now for the inevitable drop to silver :P

I also realized I had disabled auto joining the chat channels, which explains why I've never heard a single person speak for the last 4 months or so ha.

Trust me, you wouldn't have heard much anyway regardless. Well unless it's people shouting in another language at the 6 other people in the room with them over some terrible music

Usually French people from my experience. Don't understand what they're saying mostly but I hear "merde" a lot.

Hate saying it, but there is a lot of moaning in French. I can make some of it out. German and Dutch seem like a happy enough bunch on Overwatch.

Orisa is definitely going to be useful. But not for a while

I'm struggling to see what gap she fills. Is she a reinhardit light yet anti reinhardt? As in she puts up a poor shield but can batter down reins shield like bastion is doing? She's got the worst mobility and sustain in the entire game

In theory she is supposed to be an anchor tank, like Reinhardt, so that you could go with one or the other as the core of your team's activities. The developers literally said that.

The problem is that her shield is far less useful than Rein's. His has twice the hitpoints, and most importantly he can instantly turn it on and off, so that he can block Earthshatter and other big ults. He can also move around bringing the shield with him.

The main problem I see is that Rein is a specialist: he is a walking shield, with occasional murder potential, but he sacrifices almost everything, including any normal ranged attack, to have that shield.

Orisa is more of a compromise, she has shields but they're not as good, but she gets a ranged weapon. But that means she can never be as good at filling Rein's protect-the-team role as Rein does. So I'm not sure what role she is going to fill. What I think might happen is that you stack Rein with Orisa for maximum shielding potential. Throw in the newly buffed Winston and hurray, you have Shieldwatch.

The community is very toxic I find lately, people throwing games is an all too common occurrence now, and it's sucking the enjoyment out of the game, just like the above example where the whole team left after 1 poor round.

One guy yesterday epitomised how bad it is. Before the game had started, he was saying we were going to get destroyed due to the level of the other team. Within 20 seconds, I mean we literally didn't get to the the first arch on attack in Temple of Anubis and he starts saying he is going to throw the game, a minute later and he switches to Widowmaker before complaining when we actually take the point. And his mate was saying that he throws games too early, so he does this regularly it would seem.

I know the ignore function was abused, but Blizzard have to do something to block these players, cause it's not going to go away by itself.

Everyone to blame is the way I took it. Someone complaining for others to switch but won't switch themselves and people making picks that are for themselves not the good of the team.

Haha! Yup. I Started picking Mercy because Zenyatta wasn't heal-y enough. Lucky me, she's great fun to play. I can understand people picking for the team and being burned out on picking a healer.

I just don't find mercy fun at all. I can play any other support other than her.
