    is this worth buying , and where is the cheapest place to buy for the PC (I presume the PC option is better than PS4)

    Yeah ive got a few epics/legendaries myself, im level 32, like 2-3 of each and ive got 1000 creds to burn on a skin but i cant decide on which, i heal alot when playing with friends and usually use luzio or Zeyatta, but none of luzios epics/legendaries are cool enough to kick up 1k so im leaning towards Zeyatta's ifirt.. hummmm :pac:

    Anybody know when they will release new skins or how frequent it would be? Can't find any info on it

    €40 directly from battle.net
    That's what I did and it downloaded and installed the ~7 gigs very quickly and pain free. Payed via Paypal, and I had never used the site before.

    There is a version for €60 but it's just a few extra skins or something included so I didn't bother with that.

    PC > PS4 all day for me for FPS, not even close.

    Yeah its the usual colored tiers of rarity like white:normal - blue:rare - purple:epic - yellow:legendary

    Its 40 quid for 50 boxes which im super tempted on

    So Blizz is going to have to put limits on characters. Last night me and my mates all went SOldier 76 and just wrecked everything. It was fun for us but the other teams weren't enjoying it so much. We then did the same with Roadhog (more difficult) and then turned it around slightly with one bastion and the rest reinhards for an escort the payload.

We then did the same with Roadhog (more difficult) and then turned it around slightly with one bastion and the rest reinhards for an escort the payload.

    yeah i totally agree, i think it should be like other games, when someone picks a character, nobody else can pick it. Its crazy! I've seen some comps clean house way too easy, 2-3 tanks with 2 healers etc and they just tear it up. getting shocked by 3 winstons is crazy damage and being easily healed up with 2 luzios..

    Nothing is stopping the other team from choosing the same champions, which would make it a skill matchup.

    Your theory will be disproven I'm sure in time when the Pro's and competitive teams get really into it, and we will be given theories/reasons as to why 6 X Soldier76 wouldn't be viable in a top-tier match up.

    Blizzard wouldn't have to limit the classes if they opened up servers so the public can set custom gametypes / class limits etc like TF2 (sniper limits etc)

    Yeah we were gonna do that as well but never got around to it. In fairness the roadhog round could have easily been countered but they were a bit fed up I think at that stage.

    The most I managed was 4 Reinhardts on a team. It was an escort mission, and it was glorious. Slow, but glorious.

    If they limit to one of each hero per team it simply wouldn't work because the whole idea is to constantly change as the game develops.
    Imagine mid game trying to select a hero to counter someone who is wrecking only to get a message this hero cannot be selected and then having to navigate through the hero select screen while the game is still going to find an "allowed" hero, this simply would not work.
    At the start of a game/round yes it would work but hero swapping needs to be done rapidly.

    Every hero has a hard counter. Reapers completely destroy Roadhogs for example.

    This game is early doors, where a meta hasnt even properly formed.

    Already I can see some outrageous kneejerk reactions on reddit to the likes of McCree and some other stuff.

    I think there will be the typical competitive gaming thing happening here from the whiff I get from the community as a whole. I first came across it in league of legends. So I'll probably need to use the same mindset, especially when ranked play comes along.

    Balancing will obviously be something they will need to manage constantly, but typically in a game like this, there is always a counter. Just about figuring them out. But I'd imagine as the meta starts to develop, you will see Tier 1 champions/heros/characters emerging over and over in the same style of comps and matches.

    There are hard counters for everything, theres god knows how many gifs or videos out there of teams of 5-6 of the same hero getting wrecked by one character and it doesnt have to even be using an ult.

    Not a theory, more of a preference, and i never said 6 x 76's was a good idea, that wouldnt be too bad. but 2-3 winstons and 2-3 lucios would be very hard to take down.

    I just think it would be better for the game to work like that, like how smite/dota/lol do it.

    An organised team could take that out very easily, it may require a bit of testing with character changups but as I said above every hero has a hard counter its just a case of finding the right team composition to deal with whats currently facing you. It only becomes a problem when people are too stubborn to think about adapting how they play. If I die 2-3 times from the same person I immediately change up hero to either try and remove myself from them being able to kill me or directly counter them and take them out.

    Now, skipping my usual memes about Overwatch, I've now put in a good few hours into the game and I'm just about to hit level 12.

    I'll preface this buy saying I have -always- hated Multiplayer FPS games, largely because I'm not great at them and tend to get quite frustrated. Last I played was Titanfall for about a week tops and before that I believe it was Counter Strike back in like 2006 or whatever.

    Overwatch though, is bloody fun. I've yet to come out of a game feeling annoyed about a bad team and getting walked over, it's just kinda rolled off. Only one time have I seen anyone get pissed in chat and call other people ******s and all that.

    Win or lose, quite often you'll see people actually congratulate the other team.

    This is a bloody fun game and I recommend it to anyone who just wants to jump in and have some fun.

    So it looks like they might be nerfing McCree, and buffing D.Va.

    I can get where they're coming from, as the fan/roll/fan combo is ridiculously powerful, but I do think he's fantastic as a tank counter so hopefully he doesn't get nerfed too badly. D.Va on the other hand, she seriously needs a buff badly. She's great at closing a gap, with fantastic mobility, but once she gets there, her little pop guns can't even do anything and slow her down so much enemies can just walk away from her and get out of range. Not to mention how incredibly squishy she is. Buffs very, very welcome there.

    Actually Cloud9 used either 5/6 soldier76 in a recent game and destroyed the other team.

    They also at one point had 2 Lucios and 2 Solder76's, playing independantly and flanking either side of Nepal map. Then they have Reinhart, and Hanzo sitting in the middle. The way it worked was pretty cool, the side flanks had so much speed and sustain that that 2 mid guys pretty much strolled in on the capture point without much contest.

    Wouldn't be so bad if McCree's flashbang did just that. Silly that it holds you still, atleast then you could atleast jump around while flashed.

    Honestly, I just hope they do something with D.Va because playing as her can be downright infuriating she's so squishy, probably the most fragile character in the game.

    I find the trick with D.VA is to to not worry about her mech. Once you jump out you can call one pretty fast just keep poppin your peashooter, especially at a reinhardt shield and you will have your mech back in no time. With your Ult still at the same charge level.

    Oh I play D.Va loads, but there's no denying she's fundamentally broken as a tank. Once the mech gets crushed, I'll be hopping all over the place and usually manage to take out a couple of people, because her "peashooter" actually does far more damage than the mech's weaponry, which also have next to no range and cripple movement speed. Trying to play her as a tank is worthless, bar the few seconds when Defense Matrix is up, I'll mostly use her on point capture maps to fly around past areas where there's nobody expecting it and get in and try to capture.

    If want a serious laugh, use her defense matrix on top of a Reapers ult. It denies all his shots while he spins like a useless ballerina
