Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not confident. Swansea aren't the threat they once represented, but I still this they will get a result. I expect Fab to frustrate us

I think swansea are much more dangerous i think

Fab is going to seriously raise his already good game I fear.

    Arsenal team:

Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Flamini, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Alexis, Cazorla, Welbeck

Subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Rosicky, Wilshere, Podolski, Walcott, Sanogo

Campbell not even on the bench. Feel for the lad behind the likes of Podolski and it seems even Sanogo.

Craig Bellamy comes across very well.

2-1 to the Arse, Sanchez with everything.

    That's brilliant from Chambers.

We just arent the same team without Arteta in it. Few times there our centre backs had the ball and Flamini and Ramsey wouldn't drop for it. A deep lying playmaker like Pirlo we need to start our attacking play.

Not one attack yet for arsenal, very poor so far.

What a terrible game of football this has been so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

We look very uninterested so far going forward. No rythem or pace to it.

    Got away with that.

Our distribution is absolutely shocking lately, just no cohesion in the team whatsoever.

Swansea easily out muscling Arsenal. Brittle and easily got at.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

    That's a peno for me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,116 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Should be a booking for a dive there to be fair.

Ox needs to sort his form out

How did your lads get on today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Swansea finding it relatively easy to get crosses in on both flanks

    Nice play there, well defended

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,116 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Was a definite foul on the Ox there. Not sure it was in the box though,

Really ? We've been piss poor for 30 mins

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

Were a fuucking shadow of the team we once where under Wenger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

    Poor from Chambers

What's happened to our passing game? I know we were criticised for over elaborating and trying to pass it into the net but give me that over this crap any day.

    Nah, we've been alright.

Were a shambles right now, how Ramsey's form has dropped so much this season is astonishing.

Cazorla is a shadow of the player we once had wearing a Arsennal jersey.

Ox is a player who hasn't progressed at all and still looks the exact same player he was when we signed him buckets of potential but often found wanting.

Wenger is not getting the best out of these players.

We need a win here badly, never usually nervous playing Swansea but these days every game has me on the edge of my seat.

The away fans are a credit to this club.

Swansea fans booing and hissing Chambers for being injured. Stay Classy Swansea

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

Anybody see how far Gibbs was up the field there when Chambers lost the ball?? If he had half a football brain he'd be dangerous.

Under instructions from Wenger I'd say.

Questionable. He just hasnt got the positioning sense of the best full backs we had, no way would you see Winterburn or Cole that high up the field when the ball was deep in our half.

Welbeck should've done a lot better there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,747 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    Welbeck has to score there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

    Shot on target for Welbeck!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Lovely move - Welbeck should have done better

In fairness he's been great this half, unlike anybody else.
