    For anyone who might be interested in getting a taste of Maynooth before next September:
    The Maynooth University Mature Student Office is pleased to advise details of our Shadowing Programme for 2015-2016 academic year for potential undergraduate entry next September. The aim of the programme is to support potential applicants in their consideration to undertake an undergraduate course of study at Maynooth University.

    To maximise the benefit to potential mature students, our one-day programme (run over two days) is designed to allow each participant experience one normal busy day in the life of a student, with the opportunity to attend up to five lectures. It will also try to ensure that the applicant will have the opportunity to sit in on at least one lecture in his/her chosen subject(s), but will also allow the potential applicant to attend lectures in subjects that he / she may not have considered, but which could be options especially if general Arts MH101 is the choice of degree.

    The shadowing days will be Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th December 2014.

    Preliminary daily programme is as follows:

    09:00 – 09:20 Arrival & registration
    09:20 – 09:40 Welcome / Introduction / meet current mature students
    09:40 – 09:55 North Campus tour (to acquaint attendees with lecture venues, used on the day)
    09:50 – 12:55 Shadowing
    13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
    14:05 – 17:55 Shadowing
