There are two separate jobs, one is not second to the other. Can you be more specific, was in inf' or dev' ?

Recently I saw the job spec for the Administrative Officer role (campaign ended today) . Both Annual leaves and Yearly Salary is more than the ICT Specialists Executive Officer role. Starting salary 30,000+, 25 days annual leave.

Just wonder why a skilled professional is paid less than an admin officer!

I rang Public appointments yesterday. No positions in the inf' have been offered to anyone in the Dublin region and won't be for another few weeks.
That is a fact and anyone can ring them to confirm that.
It is not nice when people put up false information in relation to this.

    This is why,

Administrative Officers are the graduate entry grade equivalent of Higher Executive Officers. A lot of HEO's are promoted to the position whereas AO's aren't. They are recruited as AO's and their duties are more complex than admin work! There are AO ICT's too,

You will not be asked department specific information and the board will be made up of staff from different departments/offices.

You should have a message on public jobs telling you who is on the board.
I had a former superintendent and sone one from Government Chief Information Officer.
    Best if luck any way

OGCIO and an external non Gov consultant who was the chair. That was the setup for my two interviews. As stated, this information is available from public jobs prior to your date.

For those who are already in the Dublin panel, is there a second level interview?

Also who/when, would references / educational qualifications checked?

When your number comes up, someone from PAS will email you directly to submit any educational certificates & documents to begin Garda vetting. Medical stuff following this and then finally references are checked. Or that's the way it was for me.

Medical? Could you please explain what would be covered in this? I dont remember any medical questions in the job application. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Questionnaire on your medical history, pre-existing conditions, etc. Standard stuff really.

It's a self declaration that you are fit to carry out your duties and declare any prior medical history. If you have declared anything on the form, you maybe required to attend the state medical examiners office for a medical check up.

    €27,739.00 €29,712.00 €30,821.00 €32,687.00 €34,360.00 €35,977.00 €37,588.00 €39,166.00 €40,760.00 €42,311.00 €43,909.00

I reckon we would have been nearly on the €29,712.00 if things were moving at a proper pace

That looks about right. The last two €42,311.00 €43,909.00 are long service increments so I think there is about 4 years to get from €40,760.00 to €42,311.00 another 4 years to get to the top one. These are all based on your sick leave and on passing probation though.

Does anyone know what number they've interviewed in both streams in the Dublin Panels?

Hello, does anyone know how long it takes to get through garda clearance, medical, reference checks, or even how long it takes to get invited to complete the e-vetting for the garda clearance? Has anyone got a job offer or contract off any of the panels yet? Agree that it's gone very quiet, but maybe that's just the way it is.

Hello, Is anyone who will be accepting the job offer be taking a pay cut from what their on in their current role ?

Still though, its been over 6 weeks with no word. Even a message acknowledging the delay would be something.
