I did the infrastructure one a few weeks back , but have heard nothing yet . How long after interview did you find out where you were on the panel ?

Found out just over a week later.
Was surprised to hear back so quickly. After the interview I was told that they were interviewing until April 13 but I was notified before that so wasn't expecting anything at the time.

I did the infrastructure interview as well but haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully we'll hear something before the weekend. How did you find the interview process?

Sorry , only seeing this now. Thought the process was fine. Tested my tech knowledge which was fine and then grilled.me on the usual work as a team stuff . I work for in pub sec (not CS) , but the lead.person asked.me why I wanted to.move to pub sec and I had to.point out I was there 12years ! All in all fairly painless , interesting to.see where I placed.

Congrats, that's a great result. Were you placed on the interdepartmental panel as well? I was placed on the open and the inter.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how that ranked.
I'm coming from public service so was open only. What are the chances of getting an offer and when might that be?

On the message I got, it said the office will be in contact with you regarding your location choice Order of Merit early next week.

Posted mid 20s, its hard to know how good this is. Does anyone know how big the panel is? Yeah was confused about the location order of merit, does that tell you where you are in each county?

Im on the HEO Development Stream and got an email yesterday telling me my position on the list for the two counties I chose. It also said all vacancies so far are in Dublin...

Hi does anyone know or have an opinion on whether they plan to move on and interview again for the most recent HEO Development / Infrastructure comp? Just outside the last numbers interviewed (in the mid 50's) and hoping to get called.

Hi, I am position around 19, position 2 for my location, told no jobs outside dublin and they would be working on Dublin region in the coming days. You might get a call for Dublin as i would say their are a lot of people who would want regional only.

Haven't heard anything yet about the "location order of merit" for the HEO Infrastructure. Has anyone been contacted yet?

I remember one of the interviewers saying that the panel may last up to 2 years

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,202 ✭✭✭Samsgirl

Mr.Sam is in the 30's on the regional infastructure panel and got an email last week from PAS re a position in Killarney. The location would leave him with an even longer commute than at the moment so he declined. He is still on the panel for his chosen locations ( he hadn't selected Kerry).

Hi folks, new to boards and finding the posts very useful. I'm 20 off the last number called for the HEO infrastructure stream open competition and wondering what to research for an interview that will hopefully come up soon! I've been in IT in private sector since leaving college 17 years ago and redundancy hit last year. Usually I'd research the company for an interview so should I just look up general information on CS as I assume it would not be department specific at this stage. Technical stuff is a given. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello All!

Would anyone know if PAS have completed interviewing the first 33 for the HEO Infrastructure or first 20 for Development please???

    Thanks in advance

Yes , very happy . Didnt realise there would be such a difference between the overall and the regional.
Can anyone hazard a guess as to how many will be placed in Dublin either initially or over the next 6-12 months ?

    Hi hernie

May I ask which county did you get on the regional?

    John

You could pick 2 counties but I only picked Dublin. I moved up a good few places on the panel for Dublin so a lot of people must have picked elsewhere.

    Hi

I Don't know too much about the CS order of merit system.

I came 5th in the open stream in infrastructure.

2nd in my first pick regional (sligo)

1st in my second pick regional (leitrim)

no vacancies in either - was this a good result generally ? or am i high on the order of merit because of my location choices?
