Anybody hear when we'll be getting the interview results

Nope. But I got my current EO role notification last year around the same time the interviews for this ICT role were held this year. And it took a long time to move on to the next step, it's the middle of holiday season and will be until late August.

I suspect it will take a while before we hear anything this time around too.

None of the locations are Dublin so that greatly reduces my chances. But you never know...

I applied for just the Infrastructure stream and these were my results but I'm unsure if I've done well or not really as I have no idea how many applicants are on the order of merit.

    Overall Order Of Merit: 19

Your Order Of Merit for your chosen location(s) are as follows:
    Preference 1- 4 (Westmeath)
    Preference 2- 4 (Offaly)
    Preference 3- 5 (Laois)
    Preference 4- 5 (Longford)

The dreaded not successful message. The last few minutes of the interview didn't go well though.

I would say you have good chance of getting a place in your preferred location as many people would probably have picked westmeath and offaly as their lower ranked preference. It's possible that those that are 3 places higher than you in both places want a job in their first preferred location and so they will turn down the offer for the location.

funny thing about these EO campaigns, i applied for the General EO 2019 campaign and only got OOM of 328 and then in this IT EO campaign my OOM is 3. really just goes to show how these campaigns are so different!!!

Fingers crossed I hope you are right, I never actually thought of it that way as I wasn't entirely sure how the order of merit worked. So in theory then there could be people ahead of me for a location even though they may have no real intention of actually working there should a post be offered.

I know the candidate information booklet mentioned about potential upcoming vacancies in Laois (probably in Portlaoise) but are there actually any government offices in the likes of Westmeath, Offaly and Longford? I'm a bit clueless as I currently live up North in County Derry but I'm hoping to relocate to a small village on the Westmeath/Offaly border just between Mullingar and Tullamore.

Just a general question about these. Can someone wait to see if something comes along in their preferred location? See example below

Your Order Of Merit for your chosen location(s) are as follows:

    Preference 1- 2 Dublin
    Preference 2- 1 Galway
    Preference 3- 3 Longford
    Preference 4- 1 Cork

Would prefer to remain in Dublin but do you HAVE to take what's offered or can you wait for Dublin

I checked the application forms about this, as I got placed in Meath and Galway considerably higher than Dublin but due to various reasons that have cropped up since applying, moving away from Dublin isn't possible for me in the near future.

If you turn down an offer at a higher preference you are 'unlikely' to be offered a lower preference position. It says nothing about it also decreasing your odds of getting a higher preference offer. In your example, if you turn down an offer from Galway, you should still be on the Dublin panel but you would be unlikely to get offers from Cork or Longford.

    Thanks

I'm not anticipating it being an issue, given how well I done but it's the just in case moment of doubt.
