Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys!!!

    I know i am definatly registered to vote as i voted in the last presidential election and local elections last year however on checktheregister.ie it says my details cant be found!!!

    Any ideas why this is happening???

    You have been removed, possibly because someone called to the door and was told you didn't live there or possibly because someone told the Council you didn't live there.

    There are huge problems with the Irish registers, it is a real danger that there could be significant widespread personation at the next election, similar to what has happened many times in elections up North.

    Just make sure you're putting in your surname and then first name...I know when I went to check I did it the other way around and got a fright when I saw it saying I wasnt registered...then realised my error.....worth trying :)

    You have have opted out to appear on the register , You may not be on it , However you can always be on the supplementary register who is made up as close to 7 days before the next election / referendum
