Hi Quick question. It renting out a room/property, do you have to pay tax on the earnings if they are under 10,000. I know this is due to go up to 12,000 next year. If you are renting our rooms in your own residence, you can receive rent (including utilities and all other payments) to the tune of €10,000 / €12,000 tax free.

If you don't live there, there is no exemption.
