Folks, I've never posted here before but I thought someone may be able to lend a hand. I'm putting together a Mindstorms EV3 (done) & the 42009 mobile Crane mk11. It's for a young persons science fair in the North west this weekend. Unfortunately, I've hit a snag near the end of the build (working backwards ☺) . I'm missing a cog, part no. 4177431, to finish the steering rack (Book 1 page 68, step 98).
Now, I know I can contact Lego but I won't have the part in time. So I'm asking anyone here who might have a spare if they could donate. Obviously, it's for a good cause.
PM for details: either postage or pickup. I'll cover the cost of postage someway or another.
    Thanks in advance

I almost certainly have one spare, but I'm in Kildare - I won't be home before the post offices close today, so it wouldn't be posted until tomorrow - I suspect that might be too late.

I know this is going to sound mad, but it's a common part - http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-4177431 lists 181 sets - some are small like http://brickset.com/sets/42020-1/Twin-Rotor-Helicopter - if you could pick up a set like this - that might work.....?

That's a good idea from Paddy, if you can get to an Argos, that part is also in the Lego Movie Melting Room set, only €13.79!

I too am certain to have the part but by the time I get it in the post to you, you may not get it in time.
