There is a warehouse abandoned for a good while up on Balascadden near the Martello Tower, does anyone know what this used to be or what company owned it etc.

Intrigued me for years but can't find any info on it

It's the old Edros Community/Sports centre eyesore and has been abandoned for around 25/30 years. Ground investigations have been carried out over the last few years but no demolition has commenced yet.

Old Community Centre, Balscadden Road, Howth:
Nokaq Investments Ltd has applied for the demolition of the old
Edros community centre and the construction of 23 dwelling
units (including 17 houses and 6 apartments) and a commercial
kiosk (most likely to be used as a coffee shop) on a site of just
under 1 hectare. It is proposed to have four and three bedroom
houses and a block of six apartments.

Actually, it's now down 1 to 22 dwellings and could well commence early next year. There are also some concerns over the stability of the hill on which the Martello Tower stands.

I have photos of me in it around 20 years ago anyway.. Major problems with ground stability in that area.

Fyi/fwiw Had a chat with one of the committee members last night who says it closed 18/19 years ago and the company is still not yet wound up.
