Hi,

A friend of mine is looking for a Smart TV for his bedroom, the space for the TV is width of 860 mm x 575 mm high, any suggestions.

Also, I'm looking for a sound bar to put on a 32" Sony TV I have mounted in the corner of a room, I'd like to be able to connect it to the TV, I'd like to have it as cheaply as possible pretty please as the TV isn't used much, I don't mind if it's demo or anything.

Thanks

Hi Clareman.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

On the soundbar for yourself.
You could look at the Roth Sub Zero 2 priced at 119.99 Euro (Inc Delivery)
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-12624-zero-ii.aspx

Good sound and will not break the bank.

Then there is the Pioneer SBX300 priced at 169.99 Euro (Inc Delivery)
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-12675-sbx300.aspx

This adds bluetooth into the mix for streaming from bluetooth devices.

For the screen you could look at the:
Sony 32W706 priced at 439.00 Euro (Inc Delivery)
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200339-bravia-kdl32w706b.aspx

Also the Pansonic TX32AS500 priced at 369.99 Euro (Inc Delivery)
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200495-viera-tx32as500b.aspx

I hope this helps.

Any questions please let me know.

That's great, the Sony TV looks spot on, how about an amp/blu ray player to go with it?

Hi Clareman.

Instead of a soundbar to go along with it you could look at the following system.

We offer the Pioneer HTP072 priced at 329.99 Euro
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-12347-htp072.aspx

Then you could add the Sony BDPS1200 priced at 69.99 Euro
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-12676-bdps1200.aspx

There is also the Yamaha YHT180 priced at 334.99 Euro
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200708-yht1810.aspx

And add the same blu ray player above.

Let me know if any of these take your fancy :D

Hi,

The sound bar is for me, the amp is for him, his old amp gave up the ghost and he's looking to replace it, he already have the speakers.

I notice you have the Pioneer soundbar as an open box, would you have an amp & TV for that size as an open box as well by any chance?

Hi Clareman.

We would not have an amp with a built in Blu ray player unfortunately.
Do you know if his speakers have bare copper ends or are they on plugs?

The amps that we stock take the copper ends. Some manufactures put plugs on all the speakers including the subwoofer. If the subwoofer runs on speaker cable it would not work 100% with the amps that we stock as they are designed to run an active sub on a single phono cable.

The above packages I listed would give the full setup.

For an amp only you r could look at the Pioneer VSX329 priced at 249.99 Euro
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200613-vsx329.aspx

Yamaha RXV377 priced at 298.00 Euro
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200458-rxv377.aspx

Prices include delivery.

I'm almost positive that they are bare copper, he's an electrician so he wouldn't have much trouble adapting anyway.

The Pioneer 1 looks spot on, how about open box options for the soundbar and TV?

Hi Clareman.

Yip we have the Pioneer left as an open box unit priced at £99.95 plus £12.99 shipping.

At the moment I have no screens or amps open box other than what is listed in the Thread with the Pioneer.

Hi Clareman.

I have to apologies as there has been an error with our website with sterling pricing going in the Euro section. This has now been fixed. The price on the 32W706 is in fact 439.00
http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200339-bravia-kdl32w706b.aspx

For the Sony 32W706c, Pioneer soundbar and VSX329 would be 819.99.

Let me know what you think on the Sony. I really do apologies for the hassle this may cause.

No problem, I'll get onto him this evening to see if he wants to go ahead with it.

Hi,

He'd like to go ahead with this, can you let me know how to go about payment? Ideally I'd like to split it into 2 payments (1 for my part and 1 for his).

Thanks

Hi All,

First of all thanks a million for the brilliant service, I'm absolutely delighted with the products and the service.

Now that I've that out of the way, the sound bar I got is way too big for where I was hoping to put it, it's a fantastic piece of kit so I've moved it to the main TV. Would you have any (cheap) soundbars less than 30" (ideally ~26") for under a TV in a corner (mounted flush in the corner of a room). I don't mind open box products, as it's this time of year price is important to me, I'm in no rush either can wait for the sales if I can save a few bob.

Thanks again

Clareman,

thanks for the kind comments - you were an ideal Customer as well :D - from memory we don't have any sound-bars that narrow , the slimmest is the (excellent) Wharfedale Vista that's about 32" wide ( its 110 wide) - I've just reduced it to £129.95 / €169.99 ( the euro price includes delivery) - have a look here:
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-12745-vista-100.aspx

How about a sound-base? could you facilitate a plint under the TV - these tend to be less wide than bars, but of course you need somewhere to put them!

Have a look at something like the new Cambridge Audio TV2 - at £199.95 / €249.99 ( its actually great value in euro as the conversion is excellent and it also includes delivery..) https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200929-tv2.aspx

See the review here:
