    hi - I am looking for a plot of land to plant +/- 25 acres preferably within reasonable distance of laois - also might be interested in 15 - 20 year old forest that has been well managed......

    I bought something similar three years ago...
    Put an ad up on donedeal and in the farmers journal listing out your specification and watch the replies roll in...
    Also keep an eye on the journal and donedeal.
    Set out your specification fairly stringently and don't accept anything less:
    Good access
    Within your acreage range
    Within your budget €3.5k per acre
    Etc.
    Etc.
