Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Taylor is not going to win this tourney or make a final on that VDV deserved to take him at 1 point ,shame Vinnys back seemed like it got worse towards end

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,480 ✭✭✭Devastator

Good game, very close both won 17 legs both had around 100 average. Taylor just won the most important legs

Wasn't expecting vdv to play as well as he did. He made a great game out of it. How Taylor got away with missing those doubles I'll never know

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,513 ✭✭✭seanhynes

Barney starts well he wins this one he shouldn't be that far an outsider when looking at Bookmakers pricing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,263 ✭✭✭alan partridge aha

If the real Barney turns up it will be a classic. Bunting always turns up.

Bunting will be a good player in the future but I think it's too soon for him. Hard to see how he will produce 4 big performances in a row. C'mon Barney!

bit different from playing in all the leisure centres to playing 5 times world champ in the Ally Pally not being that used to the big stage

I think he needs a few years to hit his potential best aswell, I just want to see a cracking game. I support Liverpool so for that I'd love the big lad to win. I don't like Barney much but I think he'll nick it

Can't see the big lad been overawed TBH.

Hope Bunting gives Barmy the opportunity to come up with another excuse for a capitulation!

Semi final of the grand Prix, quarter final of the grand slam and european champs. Big stage events where hes done very well. You ate being disingenuous saying he only does well in floor tournaments since joining the pdc

I'm not saying he's only done well on the floor at all, I'm saying he lacks any significant big stage(especially world stage) experience against someone like Barney

Barney just missed bull for 170, some the same against Lewis and missed bull for 161 in that match  I need a big checkout from him lol

Disappointing opening set from Bunting, hope he gets going fairly soon. Barney has won the 3 legs playing very ordinary.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,263 ✭✭✭alan partridge aha

Done exceptionally well for his 1st year.

Much better, still a scrappy game, especially on the doubles.

Can't watch Bunting anymore since those comments:-( Waiting for Barney to start pointing at his arse whilst throwing.
