Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What's spotting duty mean?

  • Registered Users Posts: 904 ✭✭✭squadro

Getting the cameraman to point at right area of the board. Or an offshoot of dogging.

Basically advising the cameraman what part of the board to focus on depending on the particular score/finish a player is on.

Would really love to see Taylor asswhipped tonight. Reading his autobiography he's not a very likeable character.

    Shouting for Anderson big time.

I'll be cheering on Anderson big time tonight, seems like a really likeable man.

I'm not the superstitious type but I've ahem....noticed that whoever Hazel O'Sullivan walks out with has tended to win over the last couple of nights. Please accompany Anderson out Hazel :D

Van der Voort is the best Dutch player Taylor has ever seen?

    Obvious BS!

I can't express enough how much I want Gary to win. He seems to be a really nice man unlike his counterpart. It will be a big ask but I think he has it in him to do it. 7-5 to Anderson I reckon.

Yeah I'm aware of that, still hard to believe he can sit there with a straight face and say some of these things.

Renowned for this, plays guys hammers them and then in interview says he is a good kid and I'm shattered pure BS.

Think its funny how people are saying Anderson needs a lot of luck to win it tonight.

He has played x10000000 better darts than Taylor at this world championship.

That's Phil, can be so disrespectful at times, sorry VDV.

Dont know, Taylor's average has been over 100 for every match, finishing solid, going to be very hard to beat.

God I hope Anderson wins, but I think Taylor will edge it, his experience will be the key factor.

    Hope I'm wrong

Looks like Phil is taking longer than normal to get on stage, stopping to read signs and talk to people, mind games already.

I couldn't resist trying to puncture them if I had 3 darts in my pocket.

Just put €20 at 6/1 that there'll be a 9 dart finish, they both seem to be in the grove this evening. I noticed that PP have said that it's live on Sky Sports 2, it's on 1 or 3, the American football is on 2

    Superb first set from Anderson.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,526 ✭✭✭Slicemeister

Anderson annoyed by someone in the crowd I'd say.

    Phil didn't like that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,353 ✭✭✭Daroxtar

I really don't care about his personality, as a darts player Taylor is quite simply the most incredible and dominant player there has ever been or will be. If he hits form he is absolutely untouchable. No one has beaten him when he's played well, even Barney's victory was as much a Taylor collapse as anything else.
I'd like to see Anderson win because he's playing well and he's a nice guy and all that but if Taylor wins I will not be upset at witnessing greatness. Sorry for the unpopular opinion
