Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cracker so far. Anderson will be kicking himself though, missed a huge chance to go 2-0 up. He can't let Taylor off the hook that easy.

    Anyway, Come on Phil!

I would have stuck a dart in his eye there :pac:

    What was that all about?

That was a big leg and Anderson had a dart to win it. You feel that was his big chance to pull away from the Power but now they're even and Taylor is now the favourite to win it having been in this position so many times before.

what was all that about? good-natured banter of genuine niggle?

Was hoping Taylor wouldn't turn up in this form :(
Gonna be a big ask to beat that, Gary seemed to get nervous at the thought of going 2-0 up, not a good sign...

taylor just acting like his normal self there a p***k

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,238 ✭✭✭✭briany

Taylor's been there for the taking all tournament long. He's only in the final because the like of Huybrechts couldn't finish the job when they had the chance. Fancy Anderson to wilt under the pressure as well. Giving up sets like that tells me that his self confidence is already in doubt.

I missed that, what did Taylor do?

Such a despicable hypocrite, bouncing around like Huybrechts after that set.

He tickled Anderson on his chinny-chin-chin after taking the second set.

And gave daggers when it was done to him!

Absolutely. That's what I was thinking as well. I mean, he actually made a point of Huybrechts' behaviour as if that kind of stuff was beneath him. This coming from a bloke who head charged Barney in the chest.

Did you see the pre-match interview thing based on the matches leading to the final, he had a dig at Huybrechts in that, Think it was Skippy he called him (might have been something else).

Then he said Van Der Voort was one of the best Darts players he has played, the best Dutch player (words to that effect).

Likes to get his digs in, on his terms.

No issue with him jumping around on that critical set, where I do have an issue is when he rubbed Gary's chin.

Anderson should twist his ear after this set :pac:

Shocking, not the first time Phil has struggled on the double 8.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

That was silly from Anderson, got away with that big time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,609 ✭✭✭dubrov

Anderson seems to be enjoying it out there. Can't believe he tried to check out a 72 with two double 18s

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

What happened Taylor there, a bit surprised by those misses

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,193 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

I'd love it if Gary tickles Taylor's chin if he wins this set just to show Phil his mind games won't work.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

anderson is flying here. Shocking missed doubles from Taylor though and Anderson seems to realising the match.

He did the right thing going for two singles and tops from 72, if your in the zone in a double keep setting youself up for it.

I might, just to make me feel a bit better if he comes back.

Anyone elses sky go stream working perfectly when the ads are on and then lags like hell when the darts are on ? lol :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 187 ✭✭ftse100

Considering Phil opened at 8/13, 2/1 is fairly decent.. I'd love to see Anderson win though and s*it on Taylor. :P Taylor is just too smug

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 187 ✭✭ftse100

I might, just to make me feel a bit better if he comes back.

Even if I had a small stake on him and Anderson won I wouldn't actually care
