Great report DG! Trying to do sums while racing is like trying to play Beethoven wearing mittens. Never going to work.

The makings of the OAP sequel :)

    TbL
Love it! Sure we're old hands at the self-inflicted pain thing anyway :D

Super stuff DG - well done for showing the pain the door!

Thanks D, it really does work. It stops that panic rising which I am sure is like the panic of drowning... It's a work in progress and I am sure I'll get plenty of practice in the 10 mile on Monday....

Good luck tomorrow, DG. Don't know if you did this race last year but if so you'll know the course had more twists and turns than a Chubby Checker convention so whatever you do, don't get lost! All the best.

+1, weather looks good for racing. Best of luck DG.

Nice racing on Thursday DG. Definitely worth a bit of time running that on a track. Hard to take some of those corners at any sort of pace. Will you be giving the mile race on the track out in Greystones a crack?

Best of luck tomorrow out in Raheny too.

Yeah, I had heard...and for that reason - plus I don't know the area - haven't bothered trying to recce it. Basically I'm doing it blind but if anyone cares to talk me through the last two miles....? My markers are anywhere that was on the Raheny 5 route :o:)
    Thanks!

Sorry, know the area well but can't make head or tail of the map! Hopefully someone can talk you through it.

Simples, eh? :). Actually it's not that bad really after the first mile. (This was last year, didn't see an updated route so assume the same this time?) You'll be grand. Didn't mean to plant any negative thoughts. :)

Best of luck today, A! Hope you have another great day out... think it's a nice straight finish along the main avenue in the park anyway, so if you get that far without getting lost, it'll be a fast finish! Looking forward to the report.
