Well done DG, really enjoyed the race report as always. Your time is so impressive, the report gave such a good insight into what a race like this is like - Must go along some day and watch from the sideline in awe :)

Log report w/beg Mon 20 April

    Monday 20
Rest, no core, some haphazard stretching of calf and Achilles throughout the day. Stairs are going to take a lot longer, going to try and do a few heel drops as I go up :) (not every time)

    Tuesday 21
Met with two clubmates in the morning for 40 minutes of easy running incl 5x100m strides.
No core in the evening: I was wrecked.com and while waiting for sprog #2 to stop battling sleep, I decided to call it a day myself at 9:30. It is a universal law that the earlier to bed mammy goes, the more the sproglets will wake throughout the night. Both are very bunged up and the night involved several bouts of relay-type bed swapping (four in our bed is really not feasible  ) and an occasional dose of calpol. If it wasn't a pre-race night I may have dosed myself with some Jameson :D

    Wednesday 22
Wicklow Road Relay Championships tonight, 5k. This is going to be a very competitive race, two athletes I know are capable of sub-19 and another will be touching on it so I will be sucking up their tailwind and trying to get close enough to eat their dust...or at least see it ;)
