    There is some ambiguity about the Nest Offer. Is it free only to to New Customers? Do Existing (loyal) customers have to pay €99.00 . If this is the case it seems very unfair.

    Thank you for getting in touch. I can confirm that the Nest thermostat is available free as part of a price plan for new or returning customers. Existing customers can receive the Nest Learning Thermostat at a discounted price of €99 (RRP for the device, stand and installation is €374). If you're registered with Electric Ireland for electricity or gas and decide to switch your other fuel, then you'd also be eligible to receive it at no cost. Terms and conditions apply.
