    The numbers look very good early on. It must be the nail in the coffin for this government and hopefully civil war politics. A lot of the naysayers on here who said the crowd would be small have been proven wrong and looking at the tone of their posts are seething:D

    We've a lot of guys who've taken a half days leave to attend. But its coming towards the end of our leave period and many don't have leave left to take.

    Don't know what's more delusional in his post, the "crowd" or "in full swing" part. Honestly think some of these people were born yesterday. It's like they looked up "protest" on Wikipedia and decided they were Superman.

    It's going to be hard to spin this as big numbers, there's nearly more guards than protestors - the crowd (well spaced out) cleared O'Connell bridge in 15 minutes.

    Holding this on a weekday in December was a terrible idea - most workers have used up their holidays or want to keep what they have.

    Couldn't get the day off either as I have used my holidays for the year but supporting the protestors 100% as well. Looking like a good turnout today which is great.

    with it being a work day, and it being very difficult for most people to get time off in December, anything even close to 100k would be a massive success.
