Ticking noise when turning right

    Hi everyone,

Started the car today to do a bit of practice driving before my driving test tomorrow. I noticed a "click-click-click" sound when turning right from the front right wheel.

I kept getting this noise for a good 10 minutes while I was turning the car. Took it to the shops, came back and I couldn't recreate this sound anymore.

Right now if I drive it there is no clicking noise.

I suspect it's the CV joint but is it normal for the noise to disappear? I really don't want to have my test cancelled when the tester hears that sound (if it comes back) :(

And before anyone says it - it wasn't my indicators ticking :D

Well, seems like the noise hasn't come back.

Let's hope it doesn't start clicking during the driving test :d

How did the test go ?

Passed first time. No noise coming from the right front wheel anymore

Really sounded like a bad CV joint or driveshaft.

I will probably jack the car up during the weekend and have a gander.
