Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"Sorry, we can't deliver this item to Ireland"

Your probably selecting a 3rd party seller. Buy direct from Amazon to get the indicated price and free delivery.

Is this the one where you open the case and put the bare HDD into the ps4?

How would opening the ps4 affect the warranty?

To swap the hard drive it doesn't because it's only opening a small part of the top

Similar price after conversion in Argos.

I've a few of them, great little drives.

Is that argos one not a 3.5 inch drive and requires its own power supply?

Be careful if you want to upgrade PS4, as you may get HDD with no SATA connection , but USB connection directly on Drive

    No it's not.
Seagate Expansion portable hard drive features like these make it incredibly easy to use this drive right from the box. Simply plug the included USB cable into your computer--no external power supply needed.

As the one on Amazon out of stock, along with increased price, this one on Argos is better value. But based on EAN: 7636490037948, which is at the bottom of product description, the drive is big, suggesting its 3.5. Can somebody confirm that Argos product is typical 2.5, as I might want to put it in a laptop.

As stated on the previous page....taking the 2.5" drive out of the chassis may not be possible, the disk may not have a SATA connection at all. So although it is a good value disk for sure, you might be disappointed to find it wont fit into your laptop.

Surely you can buy a dedicated 2TB laptop/SATA drive for similar money?

So can anyone confirm that the one in Argos for €80 has a sata connection and will work as a ps4 HDD replacement?

Will taking apart the console and inserting a new Harddrive not void the warranty?. Can you not just use it as portable Harddrive alongside it?

No, you only have to slide off the shiny part of the console and from there replacing it's really easy, Sony have said it doesn't void warranty and have even provided a tutorial on how to do it
