Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rattles in Passat b6

    TIS DRIVING ME NUTS -

    The rattles are coming from the springs in the passangers seat spings when im driving so bloody annoying.. and the next one which is a little weird.... if i have the heaters on (hot or cold) and im driving, when i start to apply the brakes, there is a rattly noise coming through the air vents but only when im braking???? the noise isnt present when im accelerating...

    Any ideas??

    The pass seat springs can probably be fixed by removing seat and applying some lube to them.

    I had a b6 Passat once. It was the most rattly car I'd ever owed. Ever inch of the dash seemed to rattle or creak at the slightest road imperfection.

    I solved the problem by selling it. Sorry...

    so many small problems with the car. not to mention it never starts first go in the morning either, not sure if glow plugs?
