Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fog in driving test

My driving test is tomorrow morning at 8:10 in Galway city and based on the fog today i'm assuming that it might be really heavy again tomorrow morning. I really need confirmation if I need to be using my rear fog light, i'm thinking that since i'm in the city I won't need it but just want to be sure.

Rear fog lights in particular should only be used when visibility is very poor, i.e. down to about fifty yards or less. Rear fogs make it tricky to tell when brake-lights are on, and can also be quite dazzling and should therefore be used sparingly, only when necessary.

Thanks for the quick response, put my mind at ease! Second driving test and this time it's in my own car that i've been driving for almost a year rather than the instructors car so hoping all goes well! Got 9 grade 2 ticks in his diesel car that I had only ever used in 9 lessons so this has to go better! :)
