USB 2.0 ports on XPS 420

This is a fairly specific question, hopefully we have someone familiar with the Dell XPS 420 (~2007 era desktop). The machine has 8 USB ports externally, 2 on the front and 6 on the back. This is a fairly specific question, hopefully we have someone familiar with the Dell XPS 420 (~2007 era desktop).
