    No Frills here in Vancouver definitely have curry powder. I would imagine every supermarket would have it with their spices to be honest.

    Do you mean to make up a curry sauce like you'd get in a chippers? That would be different to curry powder. I'm not sure it would be a thing here, but I'd try ethnic stores.

    I have a feeling the flavour you're looking for is what's sold here as Japanese curry - it's a mild gravy-like curry. You can find Japanese curry roux in the Maple Leafs Gardens Loblaws.
