    Hi all,

    I'm recently after coming home from abroad and i was wondering if there is much work in the North West area for a skilled and experienced carpenter? I have been a chippy for the best part of 15 years, and I specialize in kitchen fitting, but i can also 1st and 2nd fix, lay laminate and solid wood floors, etc. So, just putting it out there to see what the demand is like.     I worked for a short while with a crowd that sold doors and windows into building projects.

    They had subscribed to a service that gave them a full listing of all current building projects - based on size etc.

    It was great . . . We used to actually print out a "Route List" from it and call to the sites.

    Worked well for us - I think it's a couple hundred € for the year ( depending on number of employees ) but was a great sales tool.

    All you would need is a business card and call to the sites. We used to get pretty decent results.
