41 Parnell Square West is derelict at the moment. City centre dereliction is a sad sad thing. All this sadness got me thinking about the building and the potential uses it could be to. For the moment I was to write about its past, the building was apparently the Irish Foresters Hall.

Anyone know who the Irish Foresters were.
The building was important in pre and post 1916 Ireland, the IRB and the Citizen Army have associations with it.

Irish Foresters anyone?

Nah its much much more likely to be these boys, nothing to do with Forestry really, I know some Foresters are definitely still active in NI but not sure about in the ROI
