brand new iphone 6 has weird apps on it

I got an iphone 6 at lunchtime...just plugged it in and it booted straight to a home screen with the same apps as pic 5.... am i rich? :pac:

It has the logo/writing on the back though - unlike the one on ebay from a a few weeks ago?

I'm not so sure. All those bids are fake. An iPhone with test software isn't worth *that* much.

Actually I've been informed that it is. - Apparently it has full root access with usb and ssh making it very valuable to whoever is able to exploit it and make their fortune.

Three store in Blanch. BTW it has a screen protector on it which is probably what makes it look weird - I put it on before I plugged it in....since I broke my iphone 4 screen twice

I work for a fairly big (IT) security company so I'd trust the guys here telling me to put it on ebay

Ah now, at least TRY putting it on ebay. Worst case scenario you don't like the bids you get and you can pull out even if they close your account etc. Oh and make sure the auction ends on a Sunday night around 10, Sunday night seems to be when all the big spenders hit ebay in my experience.
This could be the Christmas Santa really comes for you, don't toss the opportunity away without trying your luck.
If it doesn't work out you can definitely go back to three for a replacement or to Apple.

I did put it up on ebay - no bids and was going to take it down last night...until I started getting ridiculously low eg €400 offers via PM. So will keep it up and let it end itself for comic value lol!

I called Apple and the guy told me I should be able to restore it with iTunes. Don't think he had a clue what I was talking about!

Well sadly I didn't make my fortune so no new car for me lol! I had to put it into DFU mode to get it to restore back to IOS and am now patiently waiting for my sim to switch over.
