Old slides to photos/dvd?

Does anyone know where to get old slides converted to digital DVD or prints? Went into a place on the quays today and got a quote for 50 euro's for 100 slides. Is there anywhere else? Thanks.

You can buy a negitive scanner and software but it would be about the same money.
