Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Young did very well in this position in pre-season

One of the worst misses I have ever seen from Wilshere there, just appalling.

I'm just waiting for united to hit us on the break

DDG better not be injured after that

If somebody told me a few months ago that LVG would replace Moyes, spent something like 150m on players,

I wouldn't have believed that in a key game v Arsenal that Valencia, Young or Carrick would be involved

Utd have done better since Young have come on actually, although that wouldn't be hard. They might have weathered the early storm somewhat.

    Thank heavens for De Gea.

De Gea needs a pay rise.

    Bit harsh on Carrick.

Seeing it a second time, class keeping.

DeGae single handily keeping united in it

Arsenal woeful in front of goal

Utd certainly have more than a small chance here with Arsenal's vulnerability of late as well.

Such a turgid and lazy start from United. The side looks so soft.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

The fact that Arsenal haven't scored yet is astonishing.

But probably a good thing at the same time.

And only two new signings involved

Fellaini needs to come off right now.

Interesting game. A forward that's can't score against a defense that can't defend.

Yes, lets make our 2nd sub of the game before the 30th minute.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,920 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Utd aren't creating anything, they look short in all departments, one way traffic. Still, nearly 30 mins played and level.

Wilshire has to get booked there. No respect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

    Fellaini should've went down.

How is that not dissent from wilshere?

No wonder refs get dogs abuse if they let that go

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

    Wilshere should be off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

    Lol

Wilshere looking pathetic up against Fellaini

When the **** are we gonna see consistency regarding headbutts?

    Clear red

How the **** did Mike Dean not send Wilshire off there?

    He bottled it.

Wilshere is lucky not to be red carded there.

wilshire showing exactly why he will never reach his amazing potential. terrible attitude as always

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Wilshere lucky that Fellaini is nearly a foot taller than him and that Mike Dean bottled it.

That'll be the turning point of the half.

Wilshere has such an appalling attitude.

Has he actually improved at all from his breakthrough season?

    If anything he's regressed.

    What a waste.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,304 ✭✭✭madcabbage

Wow, if Fellani had done that to Wilshire every Tom Dick and Harry would be up in arms!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

If arsenal were as poor as utd today utd would be a couple of goals up already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

so happy to see its still goalless by the sounds of things

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,345 ✭✭✭keeponhurling

That'll be the turning point of the half.

You saying letting wilshere off will turn it in Arsenal's favour ?

    They were already on top

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Wilshere's a liability and it's not like he brings anything to the team which counteracts it.
