Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Onside by a fúcking mile!

Well Fellaini was probably off for the goal so it works itself out.

That was so tight it made no odds. There is no comparison. Awful stuff

De Gea deserves the Ballon Dor :P

Dea Gea's ability to smoother and keep hold of the ball is rare these days.

Warning sign with the offside call.

Too open at the back from the Gooners

This will finish 2-1, although I'm not sure to which team at this point. Utd looking more likely to score next.

RVP has been non existent really

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Even if half the Arsenal XI had Sanchez's attitude they'd win the CL.

    He's magnificent.

Being very kind there. Herrera for him is the obvious choice for some time now.

Plenty of time for an Arsenal equalizer, no need to go gung ho. It'll be there downfall...

United defence all over the shop

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

You'd sweat the Arsenal players were on a bonus for hitting the ball straight at de Gea as often as possible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,920 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

De Gea doesn't deserve to be beaten on today's performance, barely any protection all game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

De Gea has been superb but Arsenal's finishing has been abysmal.

He's done exactly what he's needed to do, but he should have been needed to do far more given the chances Arsenal have had. Shocking from Arsenal considering the quality they have. Giroud might be called upon soon.

Knowing Wenger he'll be brought on with 90 seconds to go.

It's sad to see such a great manager seemingly losing the plot.

Well done Smalling. Was expecting that to end in disaster.

It's a bit like that video going about facebook of some fake shootouts where the keeper is hit in the face by every pen, all shots on target by arsenal are right at the keeper

Offside and a foul lol ahh well

Fell was clearly in line with Mertesacker. The foul was Gibbs on Schzechny or however you spell his name but w/e

He's obviously not even fit enough to be on the bench at all as he would be on by now by all rights. Be interesting to see if he looks even close to sharp enough in the few mins he does get since he is coming on now.

Cross the ball, stop trying to walk it in.

I think it's still Casillas even though de Gea deserves it on the evidence of the last couple of years.

he was off side leaning forward the law is any part of the body that is legal to play the ball ahead of the last player is offside.

    He also pushed Gibbs

De Gea is miles better than Casillas at this stage imo. He should be the no1
