Is anyone here familiar with the role of Health Care Assistant?

People say it doesn't suit an older person (late 30's) , back injuries etc are apparently very common, but I still have an inkling that I like care settings, like people, does anyone know what it involves, and what to look out for in a course? Thanks S

There is a standard basic qualification which is the Fetac l5 in health care support or healthcare assistant.
