i've bought a 4 pack recently in supervalu that had
    1 * Hobgoblin
    1 * Imperial Red
    1 * Dr. Thirstys Blonde
    1 * Scarecrow
    Cost @ €12
Only one's i've seen on sale individually are hobgoblin, ginger beard and bah hunbug, never seen scarecrow...

Aldi originally had them both at that price so Tesco had to pricematch them

Fine for a once off just to try the beers, but yea a bit steep alright

I was out in Devaneys Rathmines, great selection there. 8 degrees and a few others are 4 for €10 and she has some nice looking Icelandic Pale Ale but that's 4 for €12.
Same thing where you wouldn't be stocking up but good way to taste them. I don't want to be acquiring a taste for an expensive one though.
I love the Odells 5 Barrell in Whelans but it's about €3.40 a 330ml bottle, so special occasions only.

Has anyone tried the Franciscan Well weisse? Picked up some of this and Hilden blonde, haven't tried either of them before.

Speaking of stocking up, Aldi have very little O'Sheas (made by Carlow Brewing) left any place I tried. There was one ale left on Parnell St, and the oul fella only found one stout down in Bunclody

Dont bother with Rathmines Swan centre anyway I just cleaned them out of KPA. When I went in first I was devastated to see they had none of it and no Leann Follain. Asked at the til and she said she had no stock. So I got soe Hilden twisted hop so it wouldnt be a wasted journey.
Got down to parking and had no cash left to pay for parking. Had to go back up to buy something and get cash back on the card. I was arsing around a bit and decided to have a 2nd look in the off license to make sure I didnt miss something decent on the 4 for €9. Lo and behold the shelf had been stocked full with Blacks. So I duly bought it all.
There is Black's IPA though, the dark stuff which is nice too.

The O'Sheas isn't great value when the Dunnes 4 for €9 deal is on.

Not a great selection in my hometown but fortunately for me the Kinsale Black IPA is less popular than the pale on the 4for 9 so picked up that, some Greene King IPA and a few Hobgoblins for the next few days

Just pulled a diva moment and replaced all the Bud/Miller/Bulmers in my parents fridge with craft beer. I want to get drunk on tasty stuff this year :)
