Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The instructions will be online by now. You could buy the bricks and build yourself if money is tight.

    would that be much cheaper?

I don't think it would work out too much cheaper, especially when you factor in how much time would go into it and having to pay separate shipping for pieces from different sellers. Also, the minifigures from that set are really expensive to buy individually.

If I were you I would try the likes of adverts.ie, there is a LEGO section on the site where you can occasionally pick up bargains.

If you like the VW Camper Van I wouldn't hold off for too much longer - every set has a shelf life and once they retire they don't come back. The VW has been around for a while now, a likely candidate to retire soon. The Mini has only just come out so you will be safe on that one for the time being.

I agree with the VW Camper. I'd say it's one of my favourite sets and I'd definitely say it's one that's on it's way out. And you definitely don't want to pay after market prices

Just thought of another one: if you're a fan of the Lord of the Rings/the Hobbit, my favourite from that range is Bagend. It's just really compact, and iconic.

It was €70 but Smyths had a big sale about 6 months ago (I think) where they sold it off for €35 so you might be able to get a cheap enough resell
