Anyone know what the going rate of a child minder is these days??

It would be for a 3&1/2yr old and a 1yr old. It would be in child minders own home. The elder child would be in the ECCE free playschool thingy for a few hrs. We would drop at 8am and collect at 6pm. In Dublin btw

    Thanks

It depends on the 2nd child discount.
Childminding.ie had a cost survey up but I can not currently find it.

Some minders do not give a discount for ECCE as they are on call and can not fill the space.

I would expect to pay 1400-1500 for a registered and insured childminder.

Forgot to say it would only be twice a week

part time is normally based on 5 euro an hour and then depends on sibling discount.
Hours in playschool often count if you want the minder to be on call.
