    Hi
Would anyone know if there's a place to get an iron fixed please.

    Many Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you are from a generation where it used to be possible to find people who did repairs. Unfortunately these day many (most even) small appliances are built so that once they break it's off to the land-fill. But if you do find anyone I'd love to hear that such people still exist (and don't charge more than a replacement unit would cost).

Maybe it is only a case of the cable between the plug and iron which is broken, do you know anyone at all handy around the house that would look at it for you?

The repair might just cost more than a new iron.

    Thanks for all the replies.

The iron was dropped and unbelievably there's peat moss inside in.
    It's definitely peat moss.:)

The iron was gift, quite expensive so I'll try to get it fixed.

I have one in which you put hot coals. Would'nt use it on the grass though.
