Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Real -2 at evens, Ronaldo hat-trick at 6s and Varane anytime at 14s all Betfair.

Tony Gray Anytime @ 3.10 (Telford)

I don't think Welling are the same team since they lost Harry Beautyman, so Telfords topscorer should have solid chances tonight.

Leverkusen and Liverpool double that's close to 3/1.

If Liverpool play like they did in some parts of the second half against Sunderland I don't think they will have an issue tonight. Leverkusen are also looking for the win and should have too much as Benfica have an inexperienced enough side out..which includes Bebe!

Lucky break there... Varane's header blocked on the line, rebounds to bale who nets it. But the block was a handball so a penalty was awarded and Ronaldo obliges :pac:

Any fancies for tomorrow's games lads? Surprised at the unders line for pool game tomorrow, 11/10. They have nothin up front and a Basel will surely just try shut up shop and play for a draw.

Winner, not sure how pretty lucky the game was very open suprised how much Basel went for it! Also followed kharrel on Madrid to nil, cheers good spot !

    Arsenal dnb 1.81
    Leverkusen to win 2.20
    Lincoln to win 1.75

Already taking United @ 10/11 and -1 @ 21/10 for a dime a pop, both are falling in general and I reckon will fall a little bit more before kick off at the weekend. Liverpool will be tired after tonight's exploits.

    Thinking same
surely they'll cover the -1 and 13/15 looks a decent price for that imo

I can't have city without aguero or toure and am thinking roma dnb at 4/5 looks safe enough?

Taking Olymipacos... they can go thru if they win, have already beaten Ath Mad at home.
Malmo are finsihed their domestic season, havent played competitive match since nov 11, they won their league and are in Gran Canaria. I hope they have been celebrating

Twas a sweat but they made it over the line, 87th and 90th.
Wasnt enough for them to qualify for last 16 though, the Italian draw specialists did it again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,377 ✭✭✭Warper

Backed Roma @ 31-20 to win. City are pretty bad in Europe and without two of their best players they could be in for a bad night in what should be a red hot Stadio Olympico

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

Guys, for anybody who doesn't know and is placing a bet

    Roma V City:

Roma: Will be guaranteed progress by beating City. A 0-0 draw would also see them into the last-16 if CSKA lose to Bayern, while a score-draw would be enough if CSKA also draw.

Manchester City: Complicated. Will qualify with a win in Rome as long as CSKA do not win in Germany. Will also qualify with a score-draw if CSKA lose.

Surely if CSKA lose, and City and Roma are both on 6 points while they're on 5, then City would go through with a better goal difference?

Only if it's a score draw as H2H goes first.

    So H2H would be

    City V Roma 1-1
    Roma V City 0-0

Roma scored away so they would qualify

    Only if it's say

Roma V City 1-1,2-2,3-3 Etc etc, will the GD be taken into account.

City are 11/10 to qualify, yet a double chance is 4/7 so don't fall for the DC

Contemplating no score, low score first half and in theory this would aid that as City will likely be blunt short a few attacking players.

But I had been looking at before from a point of City keeping Bayern at bay for so long in the first game in Munich and hoping that they could do similar. Not sure if Roma are great defensively.

Think they had one of the best defence in Italy last season.
City will win in my opinion, everyone underestimates Dzeko, does everyone forget Dzeko was basically city main striker last year,Aguero was injuried allot last year aswell as jovetic.
Kompany and silva having late fitness tests and if they if both start then city win!

The price is probably worth backing now, as if they are fit the odds will drop dramatically. Rumors Rossi out for Roma as well afink

Just put on a bit of a crazy bet.

    Ajax 4/6
    Bilbao 1/3
    Bayern 3/10
    Barcelona 9/20
    Chelsea 4/6
    Porto 5/6
    Schalke 4/6

Their form just wouldn't give me the confidence to back them but good luck man.

A bet I like is the Ajax and Schalke overs double. Two teams with nothing to gain really so expect to see quite a loose game and a few goals in the first.
Schalke have to win either way tonight so expect them to go at it pretty hard and could lead to them leaking a goal or two while they are at it.

    Ajax - Apoel +2.5 10/11
    Maribor - Schalke +2.5 8/13
Also putting in Barca PSG over 1.5 goals

    Treble 3.6

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

Gone with a few accums for interest:

    Barca 9/20
    Ajax 8/13
    Shaktar DC 19/20
2 or 3 goals in City game 21/20

    BTTS Bilbao V Bate 1/1
    BTTS Maribor V Schalke 5/2
    Roma V City Draw 8/13

    Sporting +1.5,+2.0 @1.3
    BTTS Barca V PSG 8/11
    BTTS Porto V Shaktar 5/6

Any winner will see profit return :)

Gotta love the group stages where there are ****ty teams like Ludo last night. :)

Gonna have a look and see what's on offer tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,194 ✭✭✭FatRat

My big bet for the night is definitely going on Barcelona vs PSG BTTS @3/4

My reasoning is simple. Both teams score plenty of goals and have players that are prolific goalscorers. Not only that but both teams are through and are only battling for top spot. Therefore neither team has anything to lose really and will tend to attack much more than a game where there is actually something at stake. I think 3/4 is a big price. Normally with games between teams like these I'd expect 8/13 or so for BTTS.
